Senior Software Engineer, Field Survey Apps – Hybrid

Topcon Positioning Group in Italy is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for Field Survey Applications. This role includes developing cross-platform field software (Java, C++) for Android/Windows/Linux/iOS, with a three-days-in-office hybrid model in Concordia sulla Secchia (Modena) or Ancona.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in C++ or Java, Android development, and knowledge of cross-platform GUI frameworks, with opportunities to influence gnss and surveying hardware integration.

Plan and manage delivery schedules with project manager and team. Serve as single point of contact for software module development and delivery. Evaluate and schedule changes within module scope and design. Maintain and modify software through coding, testing, and documentation. Support Topcon hardware integration with field survey software across Android/iOS/Windows/Linux. Degree required in CS/engineering/electronics or related field. At least 3 years of professional software development experience. Experience with C++ or Java in professional settings. Experience with Android development (Android Studio) is required.
