About the Role We re looking for a strong Senior Software Engineer strong with strong Java experience to help design build and improve scalable backend systems You ll work with strong Java Spring Boot microservices and distributed systems strong taking ownership of projects from design through to production This is an opportunity to work on complex engineering challenges influence architectural decisions and collaborate with talented engineers while remaining hands-on with the technology
Responsibilities- Design and develop strong scalable backend applications strong using Java Spring Boot and microservices
- Build and optimise strong distributed systems strong focusing on performance security and reliability
- Take ownership of projects from architecture and development through to deployment
- Develop secure strong REST APIs strong and contribute to technical design decisions
- Work with strong AWS Docker Kubernetes and CI CD strong to support cloud-native applications
- Improve system performance monitoring and observability
- Collaborate with and mentor engineers through code reviews and technical discussions
- strong 8 years of experience strong in Java software engineering and distributed systems
- Strong experience with strong Java Spring Boot Spring Security and REST APIs strong
- Experience building and maintaining strong production microservices strong
- Solid understanding of strong system design OOP and design patterns strong
- Experience with strong SQL databases and Redis strong
- Familiarity with strong AWS Docker Kubernetes and CI CD pipelines strong
- Understanding of strong application security and observability strong
- Kafka RabbitMQ or Cassandra
- Terraform gRPC or Protocol Buffers
- JVM performance tuning or reactive Java frameworks
- Prometheus Grafana or OpenTelemetry
- Experience in regulated or high-availability environments
8+ years of experience in Java software engineering and distributed systems. Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, Spring Security and REST APIs. Experience building and maintaining production microservices. Solid understanding of system design, OOP and design patterns. Experience with SQL databases and Redis. Familiarity with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines. Understanding of application security and observability. Preferred Skills Kafka, RabbitMQ or Cassandra. Terraform, gRPC or Protocol Buffers. JVM performance tuning or reactive Java frameworks. Prometheus, Grafana or OpenTelemetry. Experience in regulated or high-availability environments.
