We’re looking for an experienced Software Engineer to design, build and support reliable software solutions. The ideal candidate has a strong object-oriented development background and experience working with cloud infrastructure, containers and relational databases. Financial services or banking experience is highly desirable.
- Design, develop, test and maintain software applications.
- Build and support solutions using Java, C# or another object-oriented programming language.
- Work with product, business and technical teams to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Develop and maintain applications deployed in Docker and Kubernetes environments.
- Build, deploy and support cloud-based solutions on AWS.
- Design, query and maintain relational databases, including Postgre SQL and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Contribute to code reviews, technical documentation and continuous improvement.
- Troubleshoot issues and help ensure application quality, performance and reliability.
- At least 8 years of provable software engineering experience.
- Strong experience with Java, C# or another object-oriented programming language.
- At least 5 years of experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
- At least 5 years of AWS experience.
- An AWS Associate-level certification.
- At least 8 years of experience with Postgre SQL and/or Microsoft SQL Server.
- Strong problem-solving, communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience in the financial services or banking industry.
- Experience working on enterprise applications and complex technical environments.
