Senior Software Engineer

Salary: RM 6,000 – RM 8,000 per month

About the role

We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team. Develop applications, solve technical challenges and help improve our systems and development processes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications.

• Design, build and manage APIs and backend services.

• Conduct thorough testing of customer-facing applications to ensure quality, performance and reliability.

• Deploy applications and related systems, including backend services and databases.

• Monitor, maintain and optimise servers and system performance.

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, bugs and system-related problems.

• Collaborate with team members to implement new features and enhancements.

• Guide and mentor junior developers, including conducting code reviews and providing technical support.

• Proactively learn, apply and share emerging AI technologies, tools and best practices to strengthen team capabilities and improve work efficiency.

About you

• 3–5 years of experience in full-stack web application development, covering both frontend and backend.

• Experience working with APIs and relational databases.

• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.

• Ability to write clean, maintainable and well-structured code.

• Strong problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills.

• Able to communicate in Chinese, English and Bahasa Malaysia.

• Proven experience in mobile application development, using iOS, Android or cross-platform frameworks.

• Proficient in using AI-powered tools to improve development efficiency, code quality, testing, documentation and productivity.

• Knowledge or hands-on experience in AI development is an added advantage.
