Job Description

We are looking for a Senior SRE/DevSecOps Analyst to work on the evolution, maintenance, and security of our platforms, supporting development squads in building more reliable, observable, automated, and secure environments.

This person will be responsible for promoting best practices in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, DevSecOps, automation, observability, infrastructure as code, and cloud security, working collaboratively with development, architecture, security, and operations teams.

Responsibilities

  • Work on the maintenance, continuous improvement, and reliability of critical environments.
  • Support squads in the design and deployment of scalable, resilient, and secure solutions.
  • Implement and evolve observability practices, including metrics, logs, traces, alerts, dashboards, SLIs, SLOs, and incident management.
  • Automate operational processes, reducing manual activities and increasing environment efficiency.
  • Develop, review, and maintain infrastructure as code, using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines, promoting practices for secure deployment, versioning, rollback, and automation.
  • Integrate security practices into the DevOps cycle, including vulnerability analysis, secret management, hardening, permissions, container security, and cloud best practices.
  • Perform troubleshooting of applications, infrastructure, networks, containers, databases, and integrations.
  • Contribute to incident response processes, post-mortems, root cause analysis, and improvement plans.
  • Support FinOps, CloudOps, and SecOps initiatives, seeking efficiency, security, and operational stability.
  • Disseminate technical best practices among teams, acting as a reference for reliability, automation, and security topics.

Technical Requirements

  • Solid experience with SRE, DevOps, or DevSecOps practices.
  • Knowledge of cloud environments, preferably AWS.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code, preferably Terraform.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD and tools such as GitHub Actions and GitLab CI.
  • Experience with containers and orchestration, such as Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, or EKS.
  • Knowledge of observability with tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, Datadog, New Relic, Elastic, OpenTelemetry, or similar.
  • Experience in troubleshooting applications, infrastructure, network, performance, and availability.
  • Knowledge of security applied to pipelines, cloud, containers, IAM, secrets, and vulnerabilities.
  • Familiarity with Linux, networks, DNS, load balancers, WAF, digital certificates, and HTTP/HTTPS protocols.
  • Knowledge of automation with scripts, using Python, Bash, or similar languages.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with AWS WAF, CloudFront, Route 53, API Gateway, Lambda, ECS, EKS, RDS, SQS, and EventBridge.
  • Experience with FinOps, CloudOps, or SecOps practices.
  • Knowledge of SAST, DAST, SCA, SBOM, OWASP, Trivy, SonarQube, Checkov, Snyk, or similar tools.
  • Experience with incident management, war rooms, post-mortems, and continuous improvement.
  • Knowledge of high-availability architecture, disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity.
  • AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, DevOps, Security, or Cloud certifications.

Qualifications

  • Collaborative and analytical profile: ability to work in multidisciplinary teams, with a focus on continuous improvement, incident response, and a security culture integrated into the software lifecycle.
  • Knowledge of SRE and DevOps practices: mastery of concepts such as reliability, observability, automation, and scalability, in addition to CI/CD practices and infrastructure as code (IaC).
  • Strong foundation in operational security (SecOps): familiarity with security principles in production environments, vulnerability management, system hardening, and integration of security into delivery pipelines.
  • Experience with operating systems and networks: proficiency in Linux/Unix, administration of distributed systems, networks, and protocols, with a focus on performance and security.
  • Experience in cloud environments: practical experience with AWS (or other clouds), including secure service configuration, access control, and compliance monitoring.
  • Automation and monitoring: use of tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, and others for provisioning, observability, and incident response.
