Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, robust APIs in Golang that power main applications
- Enforce best practices in coding, testing, and documentation
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges in development and production environments
- Contribute to architectural discussions and strategic planning for the backend ecosystem
- Take complete ownership of code end-to-end with a clear sense of urgency
- Leverage data-driven insights and analytics to refine system performance
- Collaborate closely with Product and Design teams to shape innovative features
Requirements
- Proficiency in Go, Python, or similar programming languages
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or Engineering
- Strong understanding of database design and modeling (e.g., PostgreSQL)
- Proven track record developing scalable systems and RESTful services
- Experience building and maintaining data pipelines and ETL processes
- Understanding of automated testing and deployment processes
- Ability to travel to the NYC office a few times a year
