Madiff is hiring a Senior System Business Analyst in Warsaw (hybrid, 1 day/week onsite) to independently lead analysis of complex banking credit and lending systems — gathering and challenging requirements, designing integrations and processes, and modeling with UML, REST APIs, SOA, and microservices. Long-term B2B contract; fluent Polish and B2 English required.
We are looking for a Senior System Business Analyst to support complex banking systems and processes, with a strong focus on credit and lending. The role combines business and system analysis, integration design, microservices, REST APIs, SOA, UML, and distributed architectures, with responsibility for independently leading analytical workstreams from requirements through implementation and testing.
Responsibilities
• Analyse business and system requirements
• Support business users in defining and refining requirements
• Independently manage analytical workstreams
• Challenge requirements and propose alternative solutions
• Translate business requirements into functional and system specifications
• Design business processes and system behaviour
• Create user interface mock ups where required
• Model business rules
• Participate in technical solution design
• Analyse integrations between banking systems
• Work with REST APIs and microservices
• Prepare UML models and analytical documentation
• Conduct requirements and solution workshops
• Support Developers and Testers during implementation
• Support business users during testing
• Coordinate implementation activities
• Work closely with Developers, Testers and Product Owners
Requirements
• Minimum 8 years of system analysis experience
• Strong business and system requirements analysis
• Experience independently leading analytical topics
• Strong knowledge of SOA, REST and Web Services
• Practical Postman or SOAP UI experience
• Experience with microservices architecture
• Experience documenting REST services using Swagger / YAML
• Very good UML knowledge
• Practical experience with CASE tools, preferably Enterprise Architect
• Good SQL knowledge
• Understanding of distributed IT system architecture
• Strong stakeholder and workshop management skills
• Ability to challenge requirements and propose appropriate solutions
• Fluent Polish
• English minimum B2
