Senior Systems Engineer (Azure & Microsoft 365) - Level 3

At FUJIFILM MicroChannel, we're looking for a senior engineer who enjoys tackling complex technical challenges, working with modern Microsoft technologies and helping customers achieve real business outcomes.

This is an opportunity to work alongside experienced engineers, architects and consultants across cloud, security, infrastructure and modern workplace projects for customers throughout Australia.

You'll be trusted to make technical decisions, influence customer environments and play a key role in delivering high-quality outcomes.

You'll work across a mix of projects, consulting engagements and technical leadership activities including:

• Designing and implementing Microsoft Azure solutions
• Leading Microsoft 365 migrations and modernisation projects
• Deploying and optimising Intune, Entra ID and Microsoft security solutions
• Escalation support for complex technical issues
• Developing standards, documentation and best practices
• Advising customers on technology strategy and roadmaps
• Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to technical excellence
• Participating in customer workshops and solution design sessions

No two weeks look the same as one day you may be designing an Azure landing zone. The next you could be leading a Microsoft 365 migration or helping a customer improve their cyber security posture.

What You Need to Succeed

We're seeking an experienced engineer who can confidently engage with customers and solve complex technical challenges. You'll ideally bring experience in several of the following areas:

• Microsoft Azure
• Microsoft 365
• Entra ID (Azure AD)
• Intune
• Exchange Online
• Teams
• SharePoint Online

Infrastructure

• Windows Server
• Active Directory
• Hyper-V or VMware
• Storage and backup solutions
• Disaster recovery and business continuity

Networking & Security

• Firewalls
• Switching and wireless technologies
• DNS, DHCP and routing fundamentals
• Microsoft security solutions
• Cyber security best practices

Soft Skills

• Excellent customer engagement skills
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Strong documentation and communication skills

MSP experience is highly regarded but not essential. We also welcome applications from experienced senior infrastructure, cloud or systems engineers currently working in enterprise IT environments.
