in effective selling techniques, proper food and liquor handling methods, and
restaurant operations. Specific Responsibilities:Informs
guests about the special items for the day and menu changes if any. Suggest
food and beverages to the guest utilizing appropriate methods to
upsell. Take
food and beverage orders from the guest and accurately enter into Point of
sale (POS) system. Greets
guests and presents them with the menu when applicable. Process
payment transactions. Clear
and reset table settings and linens, as needed. Performing
basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by supervisor. Communicate
to the guest and provide assistance with questions. Coordinate
with restaurant staff to ensure smooth operation and guest
satisfaction. Observes
guests and ensure their satisfaction with the food and service. Promptly
respond to guest with any additional request. Maintaining
proper dining experience, delivering items, fulfilling customer needs,
offering desserts and drinks, removing courses, replenishing utensils, refilling
glasses. Prepare
mixed drinks for service to your customers table when applicable (must be
18 or over and licensed). Understands
and can communicate products and services available at the resort. Assist
with stocking and maintaining the restaurant par stock levels and side
station. Help
other areas of the restaurant such as answering telephones and seating
guests. This is a seasonal position working weekdays and
weekends with shifts ranging from 5:00 am - 11:00 pm.
