The Simplified Chinese Localization Specialist translates in-game text, promotional materials, and press releases while managing glossaries and style guides. - Translate in-game text, promotional material, and press releases
- Create and update the SNK Simplified Chinese style guide and game glossaries
- Proofread/edit translated text to ensure quality
- Raise culturally sensitive issues for discussion within the localization team
- Check implemented text in-game for context and mistranslations
- Handle bug fixes
- Collaborate with other companies’ developers as necessary for crossover characters and events
Requirements
Must-have:
- Native speaker of Chinese (expertise in Simplified Chinese a must)
- 3 years of localization experience (preferably in game localization)
- Business level Japanese (JLPT level N1 or equivalent)
- Ability to organize and multitask over multiple projects
- Ability to communicate and coordinate with various stakeholders within the localization team
- Experience with Confluence, Microsoft Office, or similar software
- Experience with memoQ or similar translation memory software
- Experience with Jira or similar bug tracking software
Nice-to-have:
- Business level English (TOEIC 800 and above or equivalent)
- Familiarity with SNK games
- Awareness of the Chinese gaming market and culture

Working Hours
9:30 AM – 6:00 PM (7.5 hours of actual work per day)
Note: The above is an estimated working time, as this position is subject to a specialized discretionary labor system.
Holidays & Leave
- Full five-day workweek (Saturday and Sunday off)
