Site Engineer
Description
Key responsibilities
- Supervise and manage all structural concrete and finishing works on-site
- Ensure execution is aligned with approved drawings, technical specifications, and project schedules
- Coordinate daily activities with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams
- Review shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements
- Monitor project progress, productivity, and resource allocation
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports
- Ensure implementation of quality control procedures
- Enforce health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations on-site
- Resolve technical site issues and provide effective engineering solutions
- Participate in inspections, project handovers, and snag list closures
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- 3–5 years of proven experience as a site engineer
- Strong experience in concrete and finishing works
- Previous experience in residential, resort, or coastal projects is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and site coordination
- Ability to manage subcontractors and lead site teams effectively
- Excellent communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills
