Snowflake Data Analyst
We are looking for an experienced Snowflake Data Analyst with a strong background in data modelling, data warehousing, data architecture, and data quality. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with business and analytical skills, translating complex business requirements into scalable and well-structured data solutions.

Key Responsibilities
As a Snowflake Data Analyst, you will be responsible for:
- Designing and maintaining enterprise-level data models across conceptual, logical, and physical layers.
- Analysing business requirements and translating them into effective data designs and structures.
- Contributing to data architecture, governance, and enterprise data standards.
- Designing data structures to support analytics, reporting, AI initiatives, and data products.
- Supporting data migration activities, including data mapping, validation, reconciliation, and issue resolution.
- Ensuring high standards of data quality, consistency, and accuracy across data domains.
- Working with metadata, data lineage, and governance processes.
- Designing and modelling data structures aligned with Medallion Architecture, including Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers.
- Collaborating with Data Owners, Business SMEs, Product Managers, Analytics Leads, and other client stakeholders.
- Analysing complex data structures and identifying opportunities for optimisation and improvement.
- Supporting the implementation of enterprise data models and standards within Snowflake.
Required Skills:
- 5–8 years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, data architecture, or a related discipline.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Snowflake.
- Strong experience designing and implementing data models in Snowflake.
- Advanced SQL skills, with the ability to analyse, validate, and reconcile complex datasets and data structures.
- Strong expertise in conceptual, logical, and physical data modelling.
- Solid knowledge of dimensional modelling (Kimball), Data Vault, and normalized data models.
- Good understanding of Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold) and the principles behind modelling data for ingestion, integration, and business consumption.
- Experience with data modelling tools.
- Understanding of metadata management, data lineage, and enterprise data governance.
- Familiarity with Common Information Models (CIM), semantic layers, and enterprise data standards.
- Experience designing data models that support analytics, BI/reporting, AI, and data products.
- Experience with data quality, reconciliation, and data validation processes.
- Familiarity with modern data platforms, including Data Lakes, Spark, and Hadoop, is an advantage.
- Experience with GitHub or Bitbucket and CI/CD practices is desirable.
- Experience with Power BI or other BI/reporting platforms is desirable.
