Software Developer

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance back-end applications using Java and the Spring Boot framework.
• Analyze business requirements and collaborate with cross-functional, multicultural teams to deliver robust software solutions.
• Write clean, testable, and efficient code while conducting peer code reviews to ensure quality and standard adherence.
• Communicate technical concepts, project specifications, and updates fluently in Japanese with native or business stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex application issues and performance bottlenecks in production environments.
• Translate functional requirements between Japanese and English to bridge technical communication across regional teams.
• Integrate application components with third-party APIs, microservices, and database systems.

• Proven experience as a Java Developer specializing in core Java (8 or higher) and the Spring Boot framework.
• Strong foundation in building RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and backend service integration.
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle) and writing optimized SQL queries.
• Familiarity with ORM frameworks such as Hibernate or Spring Data JPA.

Hands-on experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, GitHub/GitLab).

• Knowledge of build tools (Maven or Gradle) and unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito).
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Docker).
• Proficient in the Japanese language preferably N3 or above
• Ability to communicate technical concepts, read/write technical documentations, and conduct code reviews or meetings in Japanese with native or regional stakeholders.
• Excellent cross-cultural communication skills to bridge technical alignment between Japanese and English-speaking teams.
• Strong analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
