Software Engineer (.NET & Oracle) - 9 Month Contract

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications using technologies such as C#, .NET, JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular, and Python to support R&D and manufacturing operations.
• Develop software solutions to convert legacy data formats into company-standard data structures and formats.
• Design databases, and use PL/SQL for backend application development, data processing, and system integration.
• Collaborate closely with Business SMEs, R&D teams, Product Engineers, and Test Engineers to analyse requirements and deliver effective software solutions.
• Modernise and migrate legacy software applications by converting existing codebases to current technologies and development standards.
• Maintain, enhance, and continuously improve a variety of existing custom applications to support business operations.
• Coordinate and communicate with overseas teams to support global projects and system development initiatives.
• Analyse and resolve complex, time-sensitive technical issues that could significantly impact daily operations, manufacturing processes, or product shipments.
• Follow software development best practices, including documentation, code reviews, design reviews, testing, and change management processes, to ensure high-quality solutions.
• Provide technical support, share knowledge, and mentor team members to support team capability development and project success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in software development; experience supporting manufacturing-related IT systems is preferred.
• Hands-on experience in software development using .NET technologies, including C#, VB.NET, and related development frameworks.
• Strong experience in Oracle database design, development, and optimisation.
• Hands-on experience with PL/SQL, including stored procedure, function, trigger, and package development.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex application and database issues.
• Excellent English communication skills, including speaking, writing, and presentation abilities, for communicating with international teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working with legacy system modernisation, enterprise applications, or manufacturing systems is an advantage.

Contract Period: 9 months.
Working Hours: 5 days, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM (100% onsite).
Location: Nava Nakorn Road, Khlong Nueng, Khlong Luang, Pathum Thani.
