Software Engineer (Test Data)

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

The Test Data Software Engineer will manage and develop web applications and systems related to test data, yield management, and preventive maintenance. The role involves streamlining processes, integrating new customer equipment, and improving standard software applications throughout their lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have experience in debugging, software development, and maintaining high software quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

= Manage & Develop Test Data Center:

• Oversee the management and development of the test data center for web applications.

• Implement solutions to eliminate paperwork and manual data entry in the Test Yield Management System.

= System Debugging & Maintenance:

• Debug and enhance the Work-in-Progress (WIP) Management System.

• Oversee the Preventive Maintenance of test equipment and manage the Test Spare Parts Control System.

= Test Yield Actions & Analysis:

• Monitor and take action on test yield data to ensure efficiency.

• Perform engineering analysis on web applications related to testing systems.

= Software Development for Customer Integration:

• Develop software applications for integrating new customer test equipment into internal systems.

• Prepare technical proposals and, upon project approval, lead the development process.

= Software Development & Enhancement:

• Design, develop, and enhance standard software applications through their entire lifecycle.

• Ensure that all developed software meets company standards and user requirements.

= Documentation & Standards:

• Create detailed documentation of programming algorithms, database structures, and coding strategies.

• Adhere to internal standards for software testing, debugging, and performance optimization.

= User Interaction & Support:

• Collaborate with end-users to analyze needs and provide technical solutions.

• Maintain a customer-focused approach when addressing software requirements and troubleshooting.

= Quality Control & Process Improvement:

• Enforce and maintain software quality control according to team and organizational standards.

• Drive continuous improvements in processes and software development practices.

= General Software Engineering Functions:

• Perform tasks related to standard software engineering.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor or Master degree of Engineering Computer

• Experience: 3-5 years

• Skills:

1. MSSQL Server (query and store procedure)

2. Python, C#, VB.Net, PHP, Angular, Bootstrap, JAVA, VB6 , Power BI (optional)

3. New technology learner

4. Fluent in both written and spoken English

5. Proficiency in web application development, debugging, and software maintenance.

6. Experience in developing systems for test yield management, preventive maintenance, and data management.

7. Strong understanding of database structure design, coding strategies, and software lifecycle management.

Soft Skills: Managing time to handle large volumes of data and meet deadlines for reports. Interacting with different teams to understand data requirements and translating them into actionable insights.
