A software engineer who develops, maintains, and supports applications using Java, C++, Python, or Node.js as part of a technical delivery team — handling testing, debugging, deployment in virtualised/containerised environments, code reviews, and CI/CD while following secure coding practices.
We are looking for a Software/Applications Engineer to develop, maintain and support software applications as part of a technical delivery team. You will contribute to application enhancements, testing, deployment and troubleshooting while following established development and security practices.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain software applications using Java, C++, Python, Node.js or related technologies.
- Assist with application testing, debugging and defect resolution.
- Support application deployment in virtualised or containerised environments.
- Participate in code reviews, version control and CI/CD activities.
- Follow secure coding practices and established software development standards.
- Prepare technical documentation and work with team members to resolve issues.
- Degree in Computing, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related discipline.
- 2-5 years of relevant software development experience.
- Familiarity with at least one programming language and common development tools.
- Basic understanding of operating systems, source code management and software testing.
- Exposure to cloud-native applications, CI/CD or infrastructure as code is advantageous.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in regulated or mission-critical systems is an advantage.
