Solution Consultant (Cybersecurity Pre-sales)
About the role
We are looking for a passionate and customer-oriented Solution Consultant (Cybersecurity Pre-sales) to join our growing team. The successful candidate will work closely with the Sales Team, customers, and technology partners to understand business and security requirements, design suitable cybersecurity solutions, and provide technical consultancy throughout the sales cycle. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong technical background in cybersecurity who enjoy customer engagement, solution design, and presenting innovative security solutions.
Key responsibilities
Work closely with the Sales Team to identify customer business and security requirements.
Provide pre-sales support including solution consultation, product demonstrations, presentations, and Proof-of-Concept (POC) activities.
Design and propose cybersecurity solutions to address customers' security challenges and business needs.
Prepare technical proposals, solution architectures, quotations, and tender responses.
Deliver solution presentations and conduct technical discussions with customers and stakeholders.
Liaise with vendors and technology partners to develop competitive and innovative solutions.
Support RFP, RFQ, and tender submissions.
Conduct technical assessments and provide cybersecurity recommendations.
Work closely with implementation and technical teams to ensure smooth project transition.
Stay updated on cybersecurity trends, emerging threats, and new technologies.
About you
Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related disciplines.
Minimum 2 years of experience in Pre-sales, Solution Consulting, System Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related fields.
Good understanding of cybersecurity concepts and technologies, including: Endpoint Security, Email Security, Network Security, Firewall Solutions, Identity & Access Management (IAM), Vulnerability Assessment, Security Monitoring / SIEM, Cloud Security, Data Protection Solutions.
Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Customer-focused with excellent problem-solving abilities.
Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
Self-motivated and able to work independently.
Preferred Certifications: Microsoft Security Certifications (SC-900, SC-200, SC-300, SC-100), CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP, CISM, Fortinet NSE / FCP, Palo Alto Networks Certifications, Cisco Security Certifications.
