Solutions Architect - Canberra or Melbourne

Our client is aFederal Government agency are seeking aSolution Architect for a long term engagement supporting major ICT transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities include:

• Lead solution architecture design across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments.
• Provide technical governance and architectural oversight across multiple initiatives.
• Design and document application architectures aligned to business and Commonwealth ICT requirements.
• Evaluate architecture options, trade-offs, risks, and change requests.
• Work closely with delivery teams and stakeholders in Agile environments.

Some of the preferred skills and experiences our ideal candidate will possess:

• 3–5+ years’ experience as aSolution (Application) Architecton large-scale programs.
• Strong experience withAzure technologies, including Azure DevOps, API Management, Functions, Logic Apps, App Services, and Service Bus.
• Experience with modern application frameworks (Blazor, React, SPA frameworks, microservices).
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Commonwealth Government experience highly regarded.

Duties and experiences that will benefit the candidate in standing out for the role:

• Active Baseline Security Clearance is mandatory prior to commencement.
• This position is open to Australian Citizens only.
• Candidates must meet all submission and compliance requirements outlined in the RFQ, including a one-page pitch and structured PDF submission.

Location:Melbourne or Canberra

Duration:12 months (Initial)

Clearance:AGSVA BL (already existing and willingness to upgrade to NV1)
