Summary
Lead mobile engineer (Staff/Principal) building and architecting high-performance React Native apps for iOS and Android on behalf of a fintech client's peer-to-peer investment and trading platform. Day to day: drive mobile architecture, enforce code quality, resolve performance and stability issues, and mentor other mobile engineers.
Our client is a next-generation financial technology company building a peer-to-peer investment and trading platform on secure, compliant, and trustless infrastructure. Their ecosystem enables users to trade, invest, and access diversified investment strategies transparently alongside professional investors.
Responsibilities
- Architect, build, and maintain high-performance React Native applications for both iOS and Android
- Act as the technical lead for mobile development, driving architecture and engineering best practices
- Ensure code quality, scalability, performance, and stability across the mobile codebase
- Conduct code reviews and establish strong development standards
- Mentor and guide mobile engineers, helping elevate the overall engineering quality
- Collaborate closely with product, backend, design, and QA teams to deliver features end-to-end
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, memory issues, and stability risks
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional mobile development experience (iOS, Android, or both)
- 3+ years of production experience with React Native
- Proven experience as a Tech Lead, Staff Engineer, or Senior Mobile Engineer
- Expert-level JavaScript / TypeScript knowledge and strong clean coding practices
- Strong understanding of mobile architecture, performance optimization, and memory management
