SUPPLY SYSTEMS ANALYST
Summary
Analyzes and improves supply systems at a large military depot, validating data accuracy and advising management on system requirements.
About the Position: The Anniston Army Depot is located in Anniston, Alabama, in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountain chain halfway between Atlanta, Georgia, and Birmingham, Alabama, just off Interstate 20. The Depot is the largest employer in Calhoun County with approximately 4000 employees.
Consults with Division chiefs and other using personnel to identify system problems, andcoordinates action to eliminate problems and to improve system effectiveness.
Daily validation is performed on processed cycles to determine accuracy.
Works daily with functional users and technical personnel on and off ANAD to establish and resolve operational problems and to ensure flow of data and procedures are the most efficient possible.
Advises management and functional personnel on system requirements and limitations to systemsto assist users in defining problems and needs.
