Program Analyst

Summary

Senior program analyst reviews and improves management processes for a U.S. Army command, analyzing manpower, organizational changes, and reporting systems to optimize operations.

About the Position: This position serves as a senior level program analyst for TACOM with wide-ranging responsibilities in the evaluation and improvement of management processes, procedures, and practices.

Develops recommendations for manpower requirements through review, analysis, comparison of workload data, personal, and on-site observations.

Analyzes and evaluates proposed manpower and organizational changes, determining resource implications and advantages/disadvantages, and recommends proper course of action.

Evaluates proposed Table of Distribution and Allowances (TDA) changes to determine agreement with current mission and functions, structure, and resource management decisions.

Conducts complex studies involving multi-discipline functions to provide a review and detailed analysis of all Functional Support Agreements within TACOM.

Analyzes regulations, directives, and requirements placed by higher headquarters, customers, or Department of Army regarding reporting progress.

Determines modifications to existing or proposed reports and reporting methods necessary to properly furnish information.

Coordinates the preparation of special ad recurring reports covering all aspects of the system review and analysis program as required by higher echelons.

Gathers, analyzes, and prepares a variety of manpower, personnel management, and training information for use by the organization and the Command.
