System Analyst (Java, API, Cheung Sha Wan)

Salary: $50,000 – $65,000 per month

Key responsibilities

• Go through the SDLC including requirement collection, feasibility study, SA&D, documentation, development, training and testing of IT projects

• Act as a helpdesk to handle enquiries about the systems

• Prepare system documentation and user manuals

• Conduct function test, system integration test and code reviews

• Develop automatic regression tests

• Perform all other duties assigned by the supervisor

Requirements:

• Higher Diploma / Degree in Computer Science or related subjects

• At least 4 years experience in application development

• Strong expertise in Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Java Persistence API (JPA), MySQL/MariaDB

• Solid experience in workflow design, preferably with Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN)

• Hands-on experience developing Single-Page Web Applications using React.js and Bootstrap

• Solid experience in developing automated regression tests using Playwright, Selenium, Cypress (or other browser testing tools) for web applications, and JUnit for Java

• Practical knowledge of domain-driven design and microservice architecture

• Hands-on experience with containerized application using Docker Compose and Kubernetes

• Experience in Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) and designing cloud architecture on Huawei Cloud, AWS, or other common cloud providers is a plus

• Good communication skills

• Good command in spoken and written English and Chinese
