System Engineer (Server & Infrastructure I Pathum Wan I Up to 60k

About the role

Install, configure, manage, and maintain IT infrastructure, particularly Dell PowerEdge EX Servers and related systems. Monitor server performance and troubleshoot system issues using Dell management tools to ensure 24/7 system availability and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, manage, and maintain IT infrastructure, particularly Dell PowerEdge EX Servers and related systems

• Monitor server performance and troubleshoot system issues using Dell management tools to ensure 24/7 system availability and reliability

• Manage server hardware and software, including patch updates, firmware, drivers, and access control

• Manage backup and disaster recovery operations, including data backup, RAID configuration, and emergency recovery preparedness

• Coordinate with Dell Support and relevant vendors regarding hardware issues, warranty claims, and hardware replacement

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field

• At least 2 years of experience as a System Engineer or System Administrator with hands-on server administration experience

• Strong knowledge of server architecture and hardware, including Rack, Tower, and Blade Servers

• Proficient in using remote management and system monitoring tools

• In-depth knowledge of RAID controllers, RAID configuration, and management (RAID 0, 1, 5, and 10)

• Hands-on experience in managing Windows Server, Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu), and virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere/ESXi and Microsoft Hyper-V

• Good command of written and spoken English, including listening skills

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, ability to work under pressure, and effective communication and coordination skills

• Willing and able to work overtime when required
