System / Network Administrator

Salary: RM 3,200 – RM 4,200 per month

There is an immediate requirement to fill the undermentioned position.

Post of: SYSTEM NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR

Job Description:

• To manage and ensure servers within the network are operational.

• To ensure best practices are in place for the servers, network & monitoring systems.

• Proactive monitoring of overall network health, so possible issues can be addressed before problems arise.

• Resolve problems relating to our network infrastructure.

• Provide leadership for network design and support.

• Ongoing design and improvement of our network environment.

• Documenting all changes to any system in the change control system.

• Provide day to day technical supervision for the network team.

• Provide project management for network related projects.

• Assist with security audits.

• Participate in any IT Infrastructure projects as necessary.

• Must be able to document the environment, including project plans, network diagrams

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Computer science or equivalent.

• At least 3 Years (s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

• Possess good system administration & troubleshooting skills.

• Ability to write scripts in both Unix and Windows-based environment will be an added advantage.

• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
