Systems Engineer – CCTV & Access Control
About the role
We are looking for a hands-on Systems Engineer (CCTV & Access Control) to oversee the daily operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of electronic security systems at our client's site in the East Region of Singapore. If you have experience with CCTV systems, access control, security system integration or technical maintenance, this could be an excellent opportunity to apply your expertise and take greater ownership of system reliability.
Key responsibilities
Perform daily health checks on access control servers, controllers, card readers and doors
Investigate system alarms, communication failures and equipment faults
Monitor system logs, access permissions and configuration settings
Troubleshoot technical issues to minimise system downtime
Monitor CCTV camera connectivity, image quality and recording performance
Identify and resolve camera, server, software and network-related issues
Conduct recording playback checks and ensure system functionality
Investigate system abnormalities and coordinate corrective actions
Diagnose and troubleshoot CCTV, access control, software, hardware and connectivity issues
Guide technicians in maintenance, inspections, testing and repair activities
About you
Experience in CCTV, access control, electronic security systems or related technical engineering fields
Practical knowledge of system troubleshooting, preventive maintenance and fault diagnosis
Familiarity with Genetec CCTV and CCURE Access Control systems will be an advantage
Understanding of basic networking, servers, software and system connectivity
Ability to coordinate with technicians, vendors and internal stakeholders
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintenance
