Position: Talend ETL Developer
Location: Porto
Work Model: Hybrid – 1 day/week in the office
What You’ll Do:
- Design, develop, and optimize Talend ETL/ELT workflows for data integration, migration, and transformation.
- Build scalable data pipelines across databases, cloud platforms, APIs, and different data formats.
- Translate business requirements into robust integration solutions in collaboration with business analysts and data architects.
- Implement data validation, quality checks, error handling, monitoring, and troubleshooting to ensure reliable performance.
- Maintain technical documentation covering ETL mappings, workflows, data processes, and operational procedures.
What We’re Looking For:
- 3+ years of experience in ETL development, data integration, or data engineering, including 2+ years with Talend.
- Strong knowledge of Talend DI/Talend Cloud, SQL, relational databases, data warehousing, and data modelling concepts.
- Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, XML, JSON, flat files, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Basic knowledge of Python or Bash, ETL best practices, and Agile/Scrum methodologies; ERP or industry data experience is a plus.
- Fluency in English is mandatory, with strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.
