Technical Business Analyst

Salary: ₱80,000 – ₱90,000 per month

We are looking for an experienced Technical Business Analyst with at least 4 years of professional experience in Business Analysis, System/Application Analysis, and Agile Methodologies.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of business processes, system functionalities, and technical requirements. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders, developers, QA teams, and project managers to translate business needs into clear technical specifications and ensure successful delivery of IT solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and discussions.

• Conduct system and application analysis to understand existing functionalities, workflows, integrations, and technical limitations.

• Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria.

• Perform gap analysis, impact assessments, and business process evaluations to identify opportunities for system improvements.

• Collaborate with developers, solution architects, QA testers, and business stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

• Support system enhancements, application upgrades, integrations, and digital transformation initiatives.

• Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test scenario preparation, test case validation, defect tracking, and issue resolution.

• Ensure requirements are properly documented, reviewed, validated, and aligned with business objectives.

• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, process flows, system specifications, and project-related deliverables.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of professional experience in Business Analysis within an IT or software development environment.

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in System/Application Analysis, including system assessment, functional analysis, and application enhancements.

• At least 4 years of experience working with Agile methodologies, preferably Scrum.

• Strong experience in requirements gathering, requirements analysis, and documentation.

• Ability to translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.

• Experience creating Business Requirements Documents (BRD), Functional Specifications Documents (FSD), user stories, use cases, and process flow diagrams.

• Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), system integration, and application development processes.

• Experience supporting UAT, functional testing, regression testing, and defect management.

• Familiarity with Agile project management and collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Project-based arrangement (6mos - 1yr contract; with extensions/absorption)
