Pre- and post-sales technical consultant at a Hong Kong/Macau IT solutions distributor, working with channel partners on product consultancy, solution design, troubleshooting and training for networking, security and storage products (OSPF/BGP/VLAN, firewalls, IPS, SIEM, Juniper, Check Point, Palo Alto, Cisco, Splunk).

Main Responsibilities
It is expected that you will work closely with channel partners on product consultancy, solution design, troubleshooting, and training of networking, security and storage products.
You will be assisting our channel sales managers with Pre-Sales and Post-Sales support.
You will be actively responsible for providing technical expertise to help devise and recommend solutions for clients
Requirements
Degree holder in Computer Science, Information Technologies or equivalent.
Proven track record in pre-sales and post-sales support of networking/security projects
Previous working experience in System Integrators and distributors are desirable.
Solid working experience on network protocols/technology including OSPF, BGP, VLAN and network layer 2/3 switches
Must have working technical knowledge of security technologies (across multiple domains such as Firewall, Network IPS, SIEM, DLP, Cloud Security etc), information security concepts and familiar with security products (Juniper, Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Cisco, Splunk, McAfee, etc) and the security market place.
Experience and knowledge in SMTP, Microsoft Active Directory, and Linux/Unix platform, is a plus
Strong business sense with excellent communication and presentation skills to all levels
