About the role
We are seeking a Technical IT Support cum Clerical Staff member to join ECO GREEN WASTE MANAGEMENT PTE LTD in a casual position. This role offers a dynamic opportunity to provide comprehensive technical support and administrative assistance to our operations team based in the Tuas West Region. As a casual team member, you will have the flexibility to balance work commitments whilst contributing meaningfully to our IT infrastructure and day-to-day operational requirements. This position is pivotal in ensuring our systems run smoothly and our administrative processes are efficient and well-organised.
Key responsibilities
Provide first-line technical support to staff, troubleshooting hardware and software issues in a timely manner
Perform network and systems administration tasks, including user account management and access controls
Maintain IT equipment inventory and coordinate with vendors for repairs and replacements
Assist with the installation, configuration and maintenance of network systems and peripherals
Handle routine clerical duties including data entry, filing, documentation and record management
Respond to technical support requests and maintain detailed records of issues and resolutions
Support the implementation and maintenance of IT policies and security protocols
Assist with backup procedures and basic IT system monitoring
Provide administrative support to various departments including scheduling, correspondence and general office coordination
What we're looking for
Proven experience in technical IT support or a similar role within networks and systems administration
Strong knowledge of network systems, hardware troubleshooting and software applications
Proficiency with Windows and/or Linux operating systems
Experience with help desk ticketing systems and IT service management tools
Excellent organisational and clerical skills with strong attention to detail
Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general office software
High level of reliability and flexibility suitable for a casual work arrangement
Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues
Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+ or similar qualifications are preferred
