Introduction & Summary:
Seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Manager with extensive experience in operational readiness, security operations, and critical infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership capabilities and a track record of successfully managing complex stakeholder environments. This role requires deep knowledge of industry standards and regulations to ensure seamless project delivery and transition to operations.
Main Responsibilities:
The Technical Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring operational readiness and compliance within the context of Defence and Security services for a major construction project.
Act as the single point of contact for the construction project regarding coordination and preparation of Defence & Security services.
Ensure all operational services are established prior to O&M takeover and Commercial Operation Date (COD).
Coordinate readiness activities across multiple teams and stakeholders.
Lead and manage Defence & Security operational readiness activities.
Analyze and manage cyber requirements related to project delivery.
Facilitate communication between stakeholders to ensure alignment.
Participate in governance forums and represent operational interests in Defence & Security discussions.
Coordinate operational acceptance activities and readiness assessments.
Identify and manage operational readiness risks and issues.
Provide management reporting on readiness and compliance status.
Key Requirements:
Minimum 8 years of experience in operational readiness, security operations, or large-scale infrastructure projects.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and critical infrastructure obligations.
Proven experience in managing transitions from project execution to live operations.
Strong stakeholder management capabilities.
Experience in establishing operational organizations and service agreements.
Understanding of physical and information security governance.
Experience with Information Security Management Systems (ISMS).
Knowledge of operational technology (OT) and cybersecurity principles.
Excellent communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders.
Nice to Have:
Experience in joint venture environments.
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer.
Capability in developing transfer and handover plans.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with critical infrastructure protection requirements.
