Test Analyst | Dynamics 365 & Power Platform | Baseline | Canberra

TQA Consulting is looking for an experienced Test Analyst to join a major Australian Government project. Candidates must have, at a minimum, Baseline security clearance.

This is a 12-month contract with 2 x 12-month extension options, working in a hybrid environment in Canberra.

About The Role

The role will focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform applications, including Power Pages, Power Apps and Dataverse-based solutions.

You will be responsible for delivering both manual and automated testing activities, ensuring the quality, reliability and usability of business solutions across multiple projects.

What You’ll Do

• Analyse requirements and business processes and develop appropriate test scenarios and test cases.

• Plan, design, execute and maintain manual and automated testing activities.

• Perform UI, functional, integration, system, regression and UAT testing across web-based and enterprise applications.

• Design, develop, execute and maintain automated UI regression test suites.

• Perform automated API and integration testing across backend services and integrations.

• Integrate automated test suites into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.

• Identify, document and manage defects through to resolution.

• Support end-to-end business process validation.

• Work across multiple projects, technologies, testing phases and business domains as priorities change.

• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, project teams and other stakeholders within an Agile environment.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Demonstrated experience testing Microsoft Dynamics 365 and/or Power Platform, including Power Pages, Power Apps and Dataverse.

• Strong experience across UI, functional, integration, system, regression and UAT testing.

• Hands-on experience with automated UI testing using Playwright, Selenium, EasyRepro or similar frameworks.

• Experience with API/integration testing using Postman/Newman, REST Assured, Playwright API testing or similar tools.

• Experience integrating automated testing into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.

• Proficiency with VS Code, Azure DevOps, source control, defect management and test management/reporting tools.

• Understanding of SDLC principles and Agile delivery methodologies.

• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and quickly adapt to new technologies, projects and business environments.

Desirable Skills and Experience

• ISTQB Automation Certification or similar.

• Experience with Dynamics 365, Dataverse, Power Platform and Power BI solutions.

• Experience with server-side/plugin logic, environment variables, secrets and API Management.

• Experience using Jira or similar tools for test and defect management.
