Test Analyst

High Performance Sport New Zealand (HPSNZ) is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Test Analyst to join the SUMMIT team on a part time (0.5 FTE) basis. Summit is our athlete management and performance intelligence platform.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of the SUMMIT platform and connected applications that support New Zealand's high-performance sport system.

About the Role

As Test Analyst, you will be responsible for planning and executing testing activities across system enhancements, releases, integrations, and defect resolutions. Working closely with Business Analysts, developers, vendors, and stakeholders, you will help ensure solutions meet business requirements and deliver a seamless user experience.

What You'll Bring

• Experience in software testing across functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
• Strong understanding of test design, defect management, and quality assurance practices.
• Experience working in agile delivery environments and sprint-based teams.
• Ability to translate business requirements into effective test scenarios and test cases.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience with complex, data-driven systems and system integrations.
• Exposure to automated testing and data validation practices.
• Relevant tertiary qualification, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in sports technology environments will be highly regarded.
