Test Automation Engineer | Up to ₱122K

Salary: ₱120,000 – ₱122,000 per month

As a Test Automation Engineer you will play a central role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software that powers real-world connected vehicle and IoT applications. You will design and implement automated test strategies, collaborate closely with developers and business analysts, and help teams ship robust, production-ready features with confidence. Key responsibilities

• Analyse user stories and requirements to assess validity and feasibility before testing begins

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and test suites using tools such as Selenium, Postman, and GitLab

• Execute functional, regression, system, and user acceptance testing across Agile sprint cycles

• Detect, document, and track software defects, ensuring clear communication and thorough retesting upon resolution

• Conduct pre- and post-release testing activities to validate production readiness

• Collaborate with developers on exploratory testing, bug resolution, and root cause analysis

• Apply quality engineering principles throughout the Agile product lifecycle, including participation in stand-ups and sprint planning

• Evaluate and integrate new testing tools or frameworks to enhance automation coverage and efficiency

• Prepare and maintain release testing documentation, test plans, and QA process guides

• Lead retrospectives on QA effectiveness and contribute to long-term quality and reliability strategy

About you

• 3 or more years of experience in software testing or software development

• Solid understanding of testing methodologies, QA best practices, and Agile development processes

• Hands-on experience with test automation and scripting, including tools such as Selenium, Postman, Docker, and GitLab

• Familiarity with cloud-based testing environments and distributed systems architecture

• Strong written and spoken English communication skills

• Detail-oriented approach to defect tracking, documentation, and test case management

• Creative problem solver who takes initiative and exercises sound judgment in a team setting

• Self-motivated and reliable, with the ability to perform effectively in a remote work environment

• Passion for quality engineering, continuous learning, and staying current with industry trends

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is appreciated, and certifications in testing methodologies are highly regarded
