Tester (Banking, East)

Summary

QA lead for a banking trade-finance system: design test plans, run functional/integration/regression/UAT cycles, mentor engineers, and track defects to ensure regulatory-compliant releases.

Our client is one of the leader in the banking industry, they are seeking for a experienced tester to join the trade finance team for new banking systems ensuring QA and governance.


Location: Changi
Contract: 9 Months
Salary up to $5500

1. Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies, plans, and cases for various trade projects.

2. Oversee the execution of all testing phases, including functional, integration, system, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

3. Manage and mentor a team of QA engineers, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback.

4. Allocate resources effectively to ensure timely and efficient completion of testing cycles.

5. Ensure the quality of software releases by identifying, documenting, and tracking defects.

6. Collaborate with development teams to analyze and resolve issues, ensuring defects are addressed promptly.

7. Implement and maintain robust defect management processes.

8. Conduct regular reviews and audits of testing processes to ensure adherence to quality standards.

9. Define and manage test environments, ensuring they are configured correctly and available for testing.

10. Develop and maintain test data strategies to support various testing scenarios.

11. Communicate testing progress, risks, and issues to project stakeholders and management.

12. Prepare comprehensive test reports and metrics to evaluate testing effectiveness and project readiness.

13. Act as a key liaison between business users, development teams, and other project stakeholders.

14. Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging technologies in software testing and trade finance.

15. Proactively identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.

16. Contribute to the enhancement of automated testing frameworks and tools.

17. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
