Summary
The Traditional Chinese Localization Specialist translates in-game text, promotional materials, and press releases while maintaining style guides and glossaries for SNK games. The role involves proofreading, bug fixing, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure cultural accuracy.
- Translate in-game text, promotional material, and press releases
- Create and update the SNK Traditional Chinese style guide and game glossaries
- Proofread/edit translated text to ensure quality
- Raise culturally sensitive issues for discussion within the localization team
- Check implemented text in-game for context and mistranslations
- Handle bug fixes
- Collaborate with other companies’ developers as necessary for crossover characters and events
Requirements
Must-have:
- Native speaker of Chinese (expertise in Traditional Chinese a must)
- 3 years of localization experience (preferably in game localization)
- Business level Japanese (JLPT level N1 or equivalent)
- Ability to organize and multitask over multiple projects
- Ability to communicate and coordinate with various stakeholders within the localization team
- Experience with Confluence, Microsoft Office, or similar software
- Experience with memoQ or similar translation memory software
- Experience with Jira or similar bug tracking software
Nice-to-have:
- Business level English (TOEIC 800 and above or equivalent)
- Familiarity with SNK games
- Awareness of the Chinese gaming market and culture

Working Hours
9:30 AM – 6:00 PM (7.5 hours of actual work per day)
Note: The above is an estimated working time, as this position is subject to a specialized discretionary labor system.
Holidays & Leave
- Full five-day workweek (Saturday and Sunday off)
