Job Summary
The Training Executive – IT & Media is responsible for planning, developing, coordinating, and delivering training programmes in Information Technology (IT) and Media. The role focuses on enhancing employees’ technical knowledge, digital competencies, and media-related skills to support business objectives. The Training Executive also evaluates training effectiveness, maintains training records, and continuously improves learning programmes to ensure high-quality training outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct training needs analysis in collaboration with department managers and stakeholders.
- Design, develop, and update training materials, presentations, manuals, job aids, and e-learning content.
- Deliver engaging classroom, virtual, and hands-on training sessions on IT systems, software applications, digital tools, and media-related technologies.
- Coordinate training schedules, venues, equipment, participant registration, and logistics.
- Assess training effectiveness through evaluations, assessments, observations, and participant feedback.
- Maintain accurate training records, attendance, certifications, and learning reports.
- Administer and support Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other digital learning platforms.
- Keep training content current by monitoring developments in IT, digital technology, and media trends.
- Support onboarding and orientation programmes for new employees.
- Work with internal departments and external training providers to ensure quality training delivery.
- Prepare monthly and annual training reports and contribute to the annual training plan and budget.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and health and safety requirements during training activities.
