Urgent: Associate Project Manager (Construction & Geotechnical Engineering)

Summary

Oversee construction projects in geotechnical engineering, coordinating teams, budgets, and contractors to deliver ground-improvement works like grouting or deep soil mixing on time and safely.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and project coordination.
  • Manage construction projects to ensure timely completion within approved budget, quality, and contractual requirements.
  • Coordinate project planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and site activities involving manpower, materials, and equipment.
  • Monitor project progress, productivity, financial performance, claims, and reports to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Review and manage contractual requirements, including variations, procurement processes, project handover, and final accounts.
  • Identify project risks and implement mitigation measures while ensuring compliance with HSEQ, safety, and company standards.
  • Lead and develop project teams through effective supervision, coaching, and performance management.

Requirements

  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in construction project management or civil engineering projects.
  • Experience in ground improvement works, such as grouting or deep soil mixing is required.
  • Strong knowledge of construction operations, contract management, and project coordination.
  • Possess a valid Construction Safety Course for Project Managers or Supervise Construction Work for WSH certification.
