Urgent: System Maintenance Engineer (Security and Control Center)
Summary
Maintains and troubleshoots enterprise video management and access control systems on-site, performing hardware repairs, firmware updates, and vendor escalations for clients.
Responsibilities
- Serve as L1/L2 technical support to diagnose, repair, and conduct preventive maintenance on hardware, software, and network routing across client sites.
- Perform root-cause analysis on complex technical faults, execute firmware updates, replace faulty hardware, and coordinate vendor bug escalations.
- Maintain, configure, and optimize enterprise VMS and Access Control platforms (such as Milestone, Genetec, LenelS2, or Suprema) including readers, controllers, and biometrics.
- Maintain accurate service reports, update system design documentation, and record hardware or software configuration changes.
Requirements
- Diploma or NITEC in IT, Computer, or Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field.
- Candidates with technical certifications in CCTV and Access Control Systems are highly preferred.
- Possess 3 to 5 years of hands-on technical maintenance experience.
- Experience with SQL databases, Windows Server, network infrastructure, door hardware (maglocks, sensors), and VMS/ACS platforms (e.g., Milestone, Genetec).
- Strong analytical problem-solving abilities, willingness to perform field work, and availability for rotational standby or after-hours fault calls.
