Summary
Permanent senior cybersecurity engineer role in Singapore's East region: maintaining firewalls, antivirus and IDS/IPS, supporting incident response, vulnerability management and security audits, with depth in endpoint protection, network security and IAM, and leading engineers. 7+ years in security ops required; CISSP an advantage; S$6,500–8,000/month.

Responsibilities:
Cybersecurity System Maintenance: Regularly monitor and maintain security tools, firewalls, antivirus software, and intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS)
Incident Response Support: Assist in identifying, investigating, and responding to security incidents, providing first-level troubleshooting and documentation. Liaise with technology vendors for escalation where required
Vulnerability Management: Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and patch management to ensure systems remain secure
Security Audits: Support security audits by gathering and preparing necessary logs and reports. Ensure compliance with security best practices and regulatory standards
Collaboration: Work closely with IT teams, network engineers, and other stakeholders to implement security measures and support operational needs
Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation on security procedures, incidents, and the overall state of cybersecurity environment
Requirements:
Possess Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent.
With over 7 years of experience in cyber security maintenance role or IT security operations
Proficient in Cyber Security Domain: Endpoint protection / Network Security / IAM
Possess with certification CISSP or cyber security equivalent in advantage
Knowledge advantage: Operational experience in Container Security and Key Management
Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
Able to lead a team of engineers to fulfil Day 1 and Day 2 functions
