#### Job Description
As a User Experience Designer at Ubisoft Montreal, you will help shape the player experience for new operators, gadgets, and gameplay interactions in Rainbow Six Siege. In collaboration with game design and gameplay teams, as well as several multidisciplinary teams, you will define and refine the various layers of player feedback, including visual effects, audio, and interface elements, to clearly communicate game effects and mechanics in both first-person and third-person perspectives.
You will work in a live game environment where iteration, collaboration, and player feedback play a major role. You will also contribute to maintaining experience consistency across a vast array of operators and game systems.
**What you will do**
- Collaborate with **game design** and **gameplay design** teams to support the development of new operators and gadgets
- Design **interaction flows** and feedback systems to clearly communicate game actions and effects
- Define and integrate **player feedback** systems using elements such as **visual effects**, **sound effects**, interface elements, and screen effects
- Translate narrative and gameplay intentions into clear and intuitive user experiences
- Prototype and evolve gameplay interactions throughout the production cycle
- Participate in internal and external **playtests** to gather feedback and improve game readability
- Create and maintain **UX documentation**, interaction guidelines, and design specifications
- Validate interactions and feedback systems to ensure consistency across operators and features
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams including design, audio, art, and programming
- Ensure a consistent, readable, and engaging gameplay experience
#### Qualifications
**What you bring to the team**
- Experience in **user experience** design or gameplay interaction design
- Knowledge of player feedback systems and interaction design principles
- Experience collaborating with **game design** or gameplay teams
- Ability to prototype, iterate, and adapt solutions based on testing and feedback
- Understanding of readability principles and player onboarding in game systems
- Familiarity with multiplayer or live game development
- Experience on **AAA** games, an asset
- Knowledge of Rainbow Six Siege, a significant asset
