Volunteer - Meal Service
Purpose:
Assist in preparing and serving meals to shelter residents in a respectful, safe, and sanitary manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and clean the dining area before and after meals
- Assist kitchen staff with food prep and portioning
- Serve meals to residents with care and dignity
- Ensure proper food handling and hygiene standards
- Dispose of waste and help with dishwashing as needed
