Job Summary:

We are looking for a NOC Engineer to join our Network Operations team. They will be responsible for monitoring network infrastructure, handling incident management, troubleshooting connectivity issues, and ensuring maximum network uptime. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of networking fundamentals and experience working in a 24x7 support environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor network devices, links, and services using monitoring tools.
• Perform first-level troubleshooting for network incidents and alerts.
• Handle LAN/WAN, router, switch, and firewall-related issues.
• Create, update, and track incidents through ticketing tools.
• Escalate critical issues to L2/L3 teams as per defined SLAs.
• Coordinate with ISPs and internal teams for issue resolution.
• Maintain operational documentation and incident reports.
• Work in rotational shifts to support 24x7 operations.

Required Skills:

• Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN concepts.
• Basic understanding of routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Experience with network monitoring tools and ticketing systems.
• Understanding of incident management and troubleshooting.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• CCNA certification is preferred.
