Introduction
We are seeking a senior Workday Financials Architect with deep expertise in Workday Projects to support multiple client engagements across implementation, testing, deployment, and post-production stages.
This consultant will provide hands-on functional leadership, architectural guidance, and client-facing support across several concurrent Workday Financials projects. The ideal candidate can move comfortably between strategic solution design, tenant configuration, testing, issue resolution, and optimization while serving as a trusted advisor to both implementation teams and client stakeholders.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Lead Workday Projects architecture, configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and optimization across multiple concurrent client engagements.
- Facilitate discovery and design sessions, translate business requirements into scalable solutions, and assess existing configurations for risks, gaps, and dependencies.
- Provide guidance across project setup, hierarchies, worktags, costing, billing, revenue, expenses, accounting, and related Financial Management dependencies.
- Support testing, defect resolution, deployment readiness, post-production stabilization, documentation, and knowledge transfer.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 7+ years of Workday Financial Management consulting experience, including significant hands-on Workday Projects design and configuration.
- Active Workday Projects Services Certification and prior experience working for a Workday Certified Services Partner are required.
- Experience serving as a Workday Financials Architect, Lead Consultant, or senior functional owner across implementation and post-production environments.
- Strong knowledge of project costing, billing, revenue, worktags, accounting impacts, testing, and cross-functional Financial Management dependencies.
- Proven ability to lead client-facing sessions, manage multiple workstreams, troubleshoot complex issues, and communicate effectively with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship and successfully complete required background and reference checks.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with Revenue Management, Customer Accounts, Billing, Accounting, Expenses, Procurement, Financial Reporting, or related Workday Financials areas.
- Experience supporting commercial and healthcare clients, full-platform implementations, Financials expansion initiatives, or post-production AMS environments.
- Knowledge of Workday reporting, calculated fields, integrations, release management, and regression-testing practices.

- Remote engagement requiring availability during Central Time business hours.
