Workday Integrations Analyst / Consultant

Summary

Build, enhance, and maintain Workday integrations (EIB, Core Connectors, Studio, SOAP/REST) and translate business needs into technical specs and code changes.

Job Description:

  • Support the ongoing build, enhancement, and maintenance of Workday Integrations.
  • Partner with IT stakeholders to assess business requests, build, and drive testing cycles through to production deployment.
  • Assess and analyze incoming requests requiring Workday integrations built using EIB, Core Connectors, Workday Studio, or web services (SOAP/REST).
  • Translate integration requirements into technical specifications and configuration/code changes.
  • Manage requests through the full lifecycle — intake, impact assessment, prioritization, build, testing, and deployment.
  • Perform unit testing, SIT, and support end-to-end and UAT cycles for integration changes.
  • Maintain integration documentation, including data mapping and error-handling logic.
  • Coordinate with functional teams (HCM, Financials) and external system owners on integration dependencies.
  • Track and report on request status, and resolution progress.

Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience building and supporting Workday integrations (EIB, Core Connectors, Workday Studio, or similar).
  • Understanding of web services standards (SOAP, REST, XML, XSLT).
  • Experience troubleshooting integration errors and data mapping issues.
  • Ability to write clear technical specifications and test scripts.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work across functional and technical teams.
  • Experience working in large, complex environments preferred.

Good to Have:

  • Workday Integrations certification(s).
  • Experience with Workday Studio and advanced XSLT.
  • Exposure to governance and prioritization processes in a large program environment.
