Responsibilities

Sets up and operates rolling mills with three progressive stands

Works toward setting up and operating rolling mills with eight progressive stands

Encouraged to work with Rolling Mill Operator 3 to expand Rolling Mill Knowledge

Assists Rolling Mill Operator 1 with troubleshooting and setup as able

Operates all testing equipment including: micrometers, hardness testers, shadowgraphs, etc.

Provides complete, accurate documentation when required

Participates in cross departmental work production based on business needs Learns and upholds defined quality standards to ensure maximum customer satisfaction and optimize work efficiency
