Analyst Programmer (Business Intelligence/Data Mining)
Summary
Analyst programmer supporting a HKSAR Government Department's Data Collaboration Platform: maintaining data-governance policies and documentation, coordinating projects between technical teams and stakeholders, and using BI/data-mining skills in SQL, SAS, VBA and Python (Denodo a plus).
Salary: $45,000 – $50,000 per month

Selected candidate will be assigned to work in government department and responsible for Data Collaboration Platform.
Responsibilities:
· Develop, review, and maintain the cascaded governance policies, standards, and departmental guidelines in alignment with adopted
· Provide administrative and technical support within the data governance platform to operate policies
· Facilitate project management activities by preparing documentation, tracking deliverables and timelines, coordinating meetings, and serving as a liaison between technical teams and stakeholders
· Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including data stewards, data managers, and analysts, to implement governance policies and ensure compliance
· Create communication materials, including circulars, user guides, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and training materials, covering governance processes and platform usage
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s Degree Holder or above in IT, Computer Science, BA or related field
· At least 4 years of relevant experience in IT
· Solid working experience in BI/ Data Mining, Data Management, SQL, SAS, VBA and Python
· At least 3 years of experience in roles involving technical documentation, policy review, project coordination, or governance support
· Solid working experience in writing, editing, and maintaining formal technical documents, policy frameworks, or procedural guidelines
· Solid working experience in data management concepts, data governance principles, and the data lifecycle
· Candidates with solid experience in Denodo will be advantageous
