Automation QA Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications and APIs.
• Develop and enhance UI automation frameworks using Playwright with TypeScript and Selenium WebDriver with Java.
• Perform API automation testing using the Karate Framework.
• Execute functional, integration, regression, system, and end-to-end testing.
• Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test execution, defect identification, and validation.
• Conduct performance and load testing using tools such as JMeter, Gatling, or equivalent.
• Analyze test execution results, investigate failures, and report defects with clear supporting evidence.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Maintain test documentation, test cases, automation scripts, and defect reports.
• Support automation execution within CI/CD pipelines and contribute to continuous testing improvements.

Job Requirements

Mandatory Skills

• 6–8 years of relevant experience in software quality assurance and test automation.
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright using TypeScript for UI automation.
• Proven experience with Selenium WebDriver using Java.
• Practical experience with the Karate Framework for API automation testing.
• Experience in both UI and API automation testing.
• Good understanding of functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Experience in User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Hands-on exposure to performance testing, including test execution and result analysis.
