Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and responsible Boiler & HAG Incharge (Mechanical) to handle
operation, maintenance, and compliance activities related to Boiler, HAG (Hot Air Generator), utility
systems, and associated equipment in a pharmaceutical manufacturing plant. The candidate should
ensure smooth utility operations with proper safety and GMP compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
∙Responsible for operation and maintenance of Boiler, HAG, Thermic Fluid Heater, and utility
equipment.
∙Monitor steam generation, fuel consumption, pressure, temperature, and utility parameters.
∙Ensure uninterrupted utility supply for production activities.
∙Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of mechanical systems.
∙Maintain daily logbooks, utility records, and maintenance documentation.
∙Coordinate with production and maintenance teams for smooth operations.
∙Ensure compliance with safety standards, statutory norms, and GMP requirements.
∙Handle boiler water treatment and monitor water quality parameters.
∙Supervise utility operators and technicians during shifts.
∙Troubleshoot mechanical issues related to pumps, pipelines, valves, compressors, and utility
systems.
∙Ensure proper housekeeping and safety in utility areas.
∙Coordinate with external agencies during inspections and audits.
∙Support energy-saving and cost-reduction initiatives.
Required Skills:
∙Knowledge of Boiler & HAG operation.
∙Understanding of utility maintenance in pharma industry.
∙Basic knowledge of GMP, safety, and documentation practices.
∙Troubleshooting and preventive maintenance skills.
∙Team handling and coordination abilities.
∙Knowledge of steam distribution systems and mechanical utilities.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
∙Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing industry preferred.
∙Candidate having Boiler Attendant Certificate will be an added advantage.
∙Ability to work in shifts and handle emergency breakdowns.
∙Good communication and reporting skills.
