Summary
An experienced Business Analyst joins a Sydney-based managed service provider to take ownership of internal workflows, the SharePoint environment and sales-side ERP support. Day to day they map and optimise processes, gather and document requirements, analyse operational and financial data, and drive testing, business cases and platform improvements.

Do you want real ownership of how a business runs? This Sydney-based managed service provider is looking for an experienced Business Analyst to take charge of its workflows, systems and processes and make them work efficiently for the business. If you're a self-starter who is comfortable talking process and solutions with stakeholders at every level, this role offers the autonomy to make a visible difference.
Responsibilities include:
- Reviewing workflows, processes, compliance and SLAs, then recommending how systems can better support the business
- Taking ownership of the SharePoint environment, including redesign, structure, maintenance and ongoing improvements
- Supporting the sales-related aspects of the ERP platform
- Engaging stakeholders to understand current processes and challenges, then gathering, analysing and documenting business and functional requirements
- Process mapping and optimisation across IT systems, finance operations and insurance requirements
- Analysing operational, service, financial and customer data to identify trends, run root cause analysis and recommend practical solutions
- Driving testing and implementation, and supporting business cases, cost-benefit analysis and impact assessments
- Helping modernise customer-facing platforms and working with vendors and technology partners through delivery
Experience needed:
- 5+ years in a Business Analyst, Process Analyst, Service Analyst or similar role
- Delivery experience on technology transformation programs, ideally with exposure to ERP and/or CRM platforms
- Proven ability to gather, document and validate business requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make clear recommendations
- Experience analysing and improving business processes and workflows
- Confident facilitating workshops, meetings and stakeholder discussions
- Understanding of ITIL and project delivery frameworks
- Strong report, presentation and business documentation skills
- Managed services, IT services or service delivery experience is highly regarded but not essential
