Business Analyst / Project Management Officer (PMO) – Transaction Banking (Cash & Trade)

Summary

Business Analyst/PMO role driving Transaction Banking initiatives in Cash Management and Trade Finance, bridging business needs with IT solutions and managing UAT and documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a Business Analyst to drive Transaction Banking initiatives, with a focus on Cash Management and Trade Finance projects.

  • Act as the liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams to ensure business requirements are accurately translated into effective solutions.

  • Support Project Management Office (PMO) activities by managing project timelines, tracking deliverables, and ensuring adherence to project governance and delivery standards.

  • Prepare and maintain technical and functional documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, traceability matrices, test cases, and testing documentation.

  • Support the implementation, enhancement, and growth of Transaction Banking business initiatives.

  • Lead end-to-end User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test planning, execution, defect tracking, issue resolution, and user sign-off.

  • Develop and maintain operational procedures and process documentation to support newly implemented systems and business processes.

  • Conduct training sessions and knowledge transfer activities to ensure successful user adoption of new systems and processes.

  • Apply analytical, creative, and critical thinking skills to identify process improvements and recommend innovative business solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, or a related discipline.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Business Analyst and/or Project Management Office (PMO) roles.

  • Proven experience in preparing and maintaining technical and functional documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, traceability matrices, test cases, and testing documentation.

  • Strong banking domain experience with direct exposure to Transaction Banking, including Cash Management and Trade Finance.

  • Proven track record of supporting or delivering successful banking system implementation and rollout projects.

  • Hands-on experience in end-to-end User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including defect tracking and issue resolution.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with business users, project teams, and key stakeholders.

  • Experience in developing operational procedures and process documentation to support new systems and business processes.

  • Ability to conduct user training sessions and facilitate knowledge transfer to ensure successful system adoption.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, creative thinking, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to recommend innovative solutions to evolving business challenges.
